The latest from BAM!!
My new CranioSacral teaching tool, Amanda the exploded skull, soaking up the sun with spring daffodils.
Spring is here and I want to tell you what has been going on behind the scenes of BAM over the last few months.
BEING A NERD FOR WORK
At the beginning of this MarchI traveled to Detroit to volunteer as a Teaching Assistant for the Upledger Institute's CranioSacral 1 course. This is the foundational course that teaches the structure and function of the CranioSacral system. The last time I took the course was in 2008 so it was great to re learn the information and at the same time, shift into a different role.
NEW TECHNIQUES... INCOMING!
In June I'll be traveling to Denver to be a student in a CranioSacral class called "The Brain Speaks". I am hoping the knowledge from this class will help me better serve clients with TBI, headaches, and other neurological pathologies.
COOL ONLINE COURSE OFFERING FOR YOU!
For those of you that suffer from chronic digestive issues, this class is being put on through the Upledger Institute. Yoga, breath work, visualization, and hands on techniques are all part of this online class.

BOOK RESOURCE
Now something for the athletes, specifically female. I've been reading and following Stacy Sims and her no nonsense, supportive expertise about female specific nutrition and training. Her mantra is "Women are not small men!". Women have specific nutritional needs when it comes to training and I want all female athletes, recreational or otherwise, to thrive! There's plenty of info for women 40+ and what they need now to support their training.
